Live coding with Fluxus

presented by Gabor Papp
pre-event: 8-9 October, 14.00-19.00
MoTA Point (Mestni trg 16, in front of Galerija Fotografija)

Live coding is the process of writing software in real-time, as a form of improvised time-based art. Typically, the process of writing is made visible by projecting the computer screen in the audience space.

Fluxus is a cross-platform, open source, rapid prototyping, playing and learning environment for 3D graphics, sound and games.

During the workshop the emerging art form of live coding is introduced. Participants will learn how to write simple scripts to create audio-reactive animations in 3D space. VJs, visual artists, programmers are welcome. No previous programming experience required.
